Description
Since TurtleBeach no longer provides the site that has the list of radio stations, the Turtle Radio function within the AudioTron stopped working some time back. What you'll find on this page, is my own summary of some of the other sites out there, that walk you through how to replace the functionality internally - so you can once again, play Internet Radio. So this procedure describes how I reconfigured my own AudioTron's to be able to play Internet Radio again. This worked on the TurtleBeach one and the Gateway one.

Process/Implementation
Finally did the atron update today - and very happy I did. Getting
Turtle Radio back is just awesome ! Found the useful info at :
and the station list is here :
Following the procedure there, I performed the following steps :
- password Godzilla + enable local file
- http://audiotron/shares.asp
- moved my currently configured share of \\NAS\SHARE\MUSIC to second item
- put this in first item : \\NAS\SHARE\BACKUPS\ATRON\STATIONS\OUTPUT.TXT + clicked turleradio on left side
- search stations and found 356 stations - and they worked !
(note that I didnt need to reboot my atron - worked perfectly !)

Modified version of the full text explained at one of the above links :
- Make sure you've got 3.2.24 or 3.2.25 firmware (if not, head over to the support section of Turtlebeach.com
- Get a copy of your own Turtle Radio settings. To do so, go here: http://217.43.44.182:8080/TurtleRadioWizard.aspx
- Choose "I want to download a (old) generic TurtleRadio? file with 357 stations defined without using the editor"
- Unzip the file somewhere on a share accessible by the atron
- Next, use a browser to navigate to your AudioTron? , http://audiotron/localtr.asp
- Check the box next to "Use a local file for Turtle Radio list.
- The password is "Godzilla"
- Click on the Save button.
- You will now need to put the location of your saved text
file in the first text box of the 'Configure Shares Manually' page on
your AudioTron? web browser. http://audiotron/shares.asp
. If you have a different share in there, you'll need to move it down
to one of the other ones to make room for the text file. Qualify the
complete location, so it would be \\SHARE\FOLDER\OUTPUT.TXT
- Click on the "Save Manual Search Settings" button.
Reboot your AT (From the rear switch.) During boot, you should see a
message that it's using a local Turtle Radio file. Works perfect -
playing 525.com again now for the first time in about a year !
Tuning / Customization
To tune the station list and add other new stations that dont exist, you have to update the OUTPUT.TXT file thats mentioned above. There are also some of the listed sites that have gui/web methods to add, which are friendlier, but the save/publish steps make that method a little more complicated too.
